who we are

My name is Crystal Nolen. I am a professional web developer and aspiring dog trainer. I started working for a golden retriever breeder at the age of 13 and got my first show dog (a golden named Eldorado's Tumble'N Brook) at the age of 15. In late 2007, I got my first welsh springer spaniel, Tucker. He recently became my first AKC Champion, AKC Grand Champion, UKC Champion, rally-titled dog and obedience-titled dog.

I now have three welshies and one boxer. My dogs are fed a prey-model raw diet and are put on a reduced vaccination schedule as adults. Go to our natural dog care page to find out more.

welshies

Welshies are loving, happy, energetic dogs that are reserved around strangers, but warm up quickly to new friends. They are multi-talented dogs that can excel in the breed ring, obedience, agility, hunting, tracking and more. My welsh springer spaniels are Tucker, AKC GCH CH/U-CH Mystic Acres Kung Fu Fighting RN, BN, CHIC, Leeloo, Mystic Acres Big Bada Big Boom, and our newest addition is Tucker's daughter, Jasmine, Mystic Acres Cryslen's Kung Fu Princess. Look at my welshies page to read more about Tucker, Leeloo and Jasmine.

the future

Now that Tucker has completed the requirements for his AKC grand champion title, he is doing tracking, obedience, rally and nose work in his spare time. In addition, Tucker just sired his first litter of 5 girls and 3 boys on October 2, 2011 and is at stud to approved bitches. Leeloo has started her show career and she now has 5 AKC points including one major owner-handled. She is also tracking and thinking about starting her first agility class. We also just welcomed home Jasmine. She will be trained in obedience, agility foundation work, nose work and tracking before starting her show career in April.
