About Cryslen Welsh Springer Spaniels

My name is Crystal Nolen and I started working for a golden breeder in 1990 and got my first show dog in 1992. I co-bred several litters of goldens, which resulted in two AKC champions, one UKC champion and one international champion. In 2003, I added a boxer, Raiden to my home. Since 2008, I have shared my home and my dogs with my boyfriend, Alex Wheeler and he helps with the daily care of the dogs. From 2008-2010, we fostered many boxers and that was a very rewarding experience.

It was not until 2010 that I would have my own first champion with my first welshie, Tucker. Since then, we have acquired two more welsh springer spaniels, half-sisters, Leeloo and Jasmine. I am currently showing Leeloo in AKC conformation shows and training the dogs in tracking, obedience, rally, agility and nose work.

In 2011, we moved to a more natural way of caring for our dogs in the hopes that they will live longer, healthier lives. We switched them to a raw diet and a reduced vaccination schedule. Click here to read more about how we care for our dogs in a more natural way.
