CH Mystic Acres Big Bada Big Boom CHIC "Leeloo"

Leeloo after winning a 4-pt major

Leeloo is our first female welshie. She is Tucker's niece and our second welsh from Mystic Acres. Thank you to Keith and Carla Vooris for trusting us with this special girl.

Photo by Kali WrightLeeloo is a wild woman at home and she has always shown an amazing zest for life. She wakes up in the morning wondering what we're going to get into first.

As a puppy, she was a naughty girl who loved to steal things off the coffee table and make us chase after her. She also loved to dig and taught her little sister, Jasmine to do the same. Leeloo loves to snuggle on the couch and if I don't paid attention, she will roll on her back and look up at me for attention and a belly rub. When she wants something, she knows who to stare at to get it.

Leeloo has incredible side gait. She is very smart and she's just getting started in k9 nose work, obedience and agility. Leeloo started tracking in 2011 and has become a great tracking dog. Leeloo earned her championship July 15, 2012 with two 4-point majors in one weekend at Shawnee Kennel Club. She garnered three majors during her time in the ring with the first being at 12 months old owner-handled by Crystal Nolen.

My sunshine doesn't come from the skies,
It comes from the love in my dog's eyes.

We named Leeloo after a character named Leeloo in the Bruce Willis movie, The 5th Element. It's a great movie and I recommend seeing the whole movie if you've never seen it before. Here is a link to the YouTube clip that explains the "Big Bada Big Boom" part of her name. We usually call her Little Leeloo, Laaloo or Weewoo.

"A dog's nose is something for us to wonder at. It is perfectly remarkable and reminds us that there is a world out there that we can never know. At least not as human beings."
