Welsh Springer Spaniels

GCH CH/U-CH Mystic Acres Kung Fu Fighting BN, RN, CHIC "Tucker"

Tucker's WD at Maryland Sporting Dog Association

Tucker was my first welsh springer spaniel. He's absolutely adorable and loves to play. Tucker is always happy and full of energy, but he is also very good at laying down on the sofa to snuggle. He is very serious about playing fetch and loves to use his nose for activities like k9 nose work and tracking.

Tucker in March 2012Tucker is very good at being silly and he's a great show dog with tons of attitude! His tail's always wagging! Thank you to Tucker's breeders, Keith and Carla Vooris for getting Tucker started in the show ring and a big thank you to Katie Shepard for showing Tucker to his AKC Champion and Grand Champion titles!

Tucker has a gorgeous head and beautiful expression. He has a level topline and balanced front and rear angles. He is clean coming and going and has very nice side gate. Tucker is fully health tested and has his CHIC number.

What's in a name?

Tucker is named after the Carl Douglas disco song, Kung Fu Fighting. That song was featured in Rush Hour 3 during a fight scene staring Chris Tucker, hence Tucker's call name. Here's a little youtube clip from Rush Hour 3 that might help explain.

Tucker has been known by many nicknames including T-Bone, Tuckernut, KenTucky Doggie, Tuc-A-Luc and more.

"Try throwing a ball just once for a dog. It would be like eating only one peanut or potato chip. Try to ignore the importuning of a Golden Retriever who has brought you his tennis ball, the greatest treasure he possesses."
